Officially opened in August 2006, the new £8million, 19 bay bus interchange has brought a fresh new era to passenger transport.
The bus interchange is located in the heart of the town centre, conveniently connected to Golden Square via a lift and escalator.
It provides:
• a travel and visitor information centre
• staffed public toilets with baby changing facilities
• electronic bus information screens
• shops
• a full CCTV system
• full accessibility for wheelchair users or those with mobility problems
